My name is Toby Singer. I’m an NYC-based therapist who works with individuals and couples to support their emotional growth and healing. I work for The Moses Collaborative.

My style is warm, grounded, relational, and engaged. I work flexibly and collaboratively, drawing from AEDP, psychodynamic therapy, somatic awareness, CBT/DBT skills, and mindfulness-based approaches.

In my work, I help clients unravel old patterns, address attachment wounds, and foster growth from a holistic perspective. I offer a confidential and affirming environment where clients can be fully themselves—whether that means laughing, sitting with discomfort, or finding moments of clarity and healing.

The people who find their way to my practice tend to be folks whose inner lives are rich and whose responsibilities run deep:

Therapy with me is a place where you can bring the full range of who you are: ambitious and tired, sensitive and overwhelmed, hopeful and skeptical, analytical and emotional. We slow down and notice what’s happening beneath the surface. And we work toward a version of your life that feels more honest, more grounded, and more connected to who you are.

Outside my clinical work, I’m a composer, musician, record producer, avid cook, committed sports fan, and dog person. Creative life continues to shape the way I understand people — how we hold pressure, how we strive, how we break, how we love, and how we heal.

I am supervised by Yuval Moses, LCSW.
